Fostex TH-909 Premium Open-Back 1.5 Tesla Stereo Headphones

The Fostex TH-909 is a flagship model based on the closed type TH900mk2 headphones. While keeping the same sound characteristic, Fostex further expanded and increased its sound field by adopting an open type format and adjusting the acoustic circuit. TH-909 offers a wider dynamic range with low distortion using a 1.5 Tesla 50mm driver with repulsion magnet. The diaphragm is made of “Biodynina”, accomplishing rich very low frequency, natural mid range and excellent high frequency reproduction. A double layer structure etching metal is used as the housing opening to diversify the resonance points and offer a gorgeous appearance. The housing cover features a beautiful Japanese lacquer Bordeaux finish. A 7N grade high purity OFC unbalanced cable is included as standard; equipped with detachable connector. Support the balanced connection with optional XLR cable (sold separately – ET-H3.0N&BL). The detachable connector terminal and cable connector feature rhodium plating for excellent abrasion and corrosion resistance. The newly designed ear pad adopts a low-resilience cushion to achieve a comfortable fit.
